East photographer and self-confessed B of the Bang fan, Len Grant, documented the construction of the sculpture in 2004. Unresolved safety issues has meant that it has to come down before its time. Before the beginning of the end, Len took his tape recorder to gauge public opinion on the Bang’s demise.
